TEXTURE TUESDAY AND MORE MACAROON MADNESS

I decided to join in with Kim Klassen's Texture Tuesday this week.  My image of macaroons has had two textures added to it - Paperlove (a texture freebie) and Hello (from the 2011 collection).

If you fancy looking at some fantastic texture photography click the badge to Kim Klassen's cafe on the right and enjoy!

  1. oh... super shot and texture use! i like that you used a unique subject for this. and the composition is perfect... so intriguing. i might not have known right away what the subject was if you didn't state so in your title. but the photo draws you in and invites you to figure out what it is. nicely done! lovely bowl, too.

  5. Cute macaroons...and so yummy too! I think I'm hungry :) I really like how you photographed the cookies through the glass bowl instead of just showing the macaroons. It is so much more interesting to look at! I love how you handled the processing. You didn't go too far...it's just perfect. The textures just warms it up a touch but still leaves the bright beautiful colors of the cookies and the sunlight hitting the glass bowl. Such a fun image!

  6. Faaaaabulous photos here and in your previous post! Even if they don't taste like much, you've at least gotten to enjoy the macaroons someway.

  8. Honestly, I've never had a macaroon!! I'm so behind the times! lol!! The photos you shot of them make me want to take a bite, oh, but they are much too pretty to eat in my opinion! :) I love what you did with the textures here on this image ... nicely done! This is my first visit here from Kim's site, and I want to thank you for your sweet comment on my first entry! Much appreciated! Have a wonderful week!
