Last week we took a trip out to visit the beautiful Watts Chapel in Compton, Surrey, just a stones throw from Guildford.
This exquisite little Art Nouveau chapel was designed by Mary Watts for her husband George Frederick Watts, the renowned Victorian artist.
Some of the inside decoration - a lot of the symbols representing the Tree of Life
Some of the outside decoration - over 70 local villagers helped decorate the chapel

There's a website here about the Chapel, and also the Watts Gallery, which is just a few hundred yards down the lane from the Chapel.
